Answer to Anderbob09 from the post on the OGP redstone forum, topic address
http://nforum.ogplanet.com/redstone/forum_posts.asp?TID=162477&PID=1824523#1824523

posted here where i cant be banned or suspended.

Taking away the spot that someone has been lvling in , perhaps for hours because you want it, for what ever reason, is ksing, and as such is against the rules of OGP as far as i can see, it is also against the rules of unforgiven and as such any one who did this would either be asked, by me to leave unforgiven, if a member, or would be placed on the unforgiven ban list if not a member. if the person concerned refused to leave and i couldnt influnce an outcome that made that person leave our guild i myself would leave this guild and most probably this game.

It is my hope that this never occures but Unforgiven has stood by its rules throughout all sorts of shit from other players and various gms, it is the heart of this guild as far as i am concerned and I will not surrender my beliefs for no man.

This is precisely why I want to view OGP's policies to ensure I am abiding by them. I still have been unable to locate them. Anyone have a link?

not sure where you went with this narok. You seemed to start on an 'anti' event route then veered off into a rant about unforgiven.o.O
most peeps know about unfogivens no ks policy. So are you saying that the GM's should be banned for KS'ing a popular lvling area?
The event WAS posted far in advance - but the locations werent...o.o and that 'someone' who deleted my "lets figure out the plvl event locations game thread" did not do the community any service - after all, if ppl actually KNEW what areas to avoid..then these threats to bann ppl problem would not have accured.

and on a side note...heres a big I TOLD YOU SO from my 'deleted' thread...where i put in words the issues of the locations and other ppls gameing time ...etc..

kute is right to say its not fair it is 2x event week...but then again it was posted far in advance - just not the locations. So, maybe now, someone can come on and list ALL the plvl event locations so ppl can avoid them?

did she get a screenshot of the GM's behaviour? im glad they stated it was wrong.;/
I think we need to keep reminding the GMs and the GS's that we are watching them and as such expect better behaviour. both ingame and on the forums.
regards,
msyty

They definitely should have posted the areas beforehand. I mean, are people who are leveling there just expected to pack up so the GMs can move in?

I don't see any logic behind not revealing the locations. What were they expecting? People who didn't register to show up and ask for plvl? Then send them back to brune or something, jail if they repeat it.

exactly seridor.

this game isnt big enough for ppl AS IT IS and they go ahead and 'steal' prime hunting spots for 'x' amount of time. :/
Sitting on the fence, all i can do is point out that there was a listed date and time way in advance for this event...AND o.o...i didnt exactly see a flood of ppl shouting : NO NO DONT DO THIS KINDA EVENT (apart from some ppl in one of our other discussions).
The community has as much to blame for this as anyone else...so a big fat LOL at the american time zoners who want/need to play RS at this event time periods...o.o - you brought it upon yourselfs by signing up to the event.
and if you didnt sign up for - a god damned PLVL event(!?!) (comeon ppl how freaking lazy are you lot!!?), then you have my sympathises.
now...where can i go lvl my -200 alt now?! o.O Crying or Very sad

GM's can do much better in regards to thinking up different events than this, im quite sure.

quote me onto the RS forums if you need to, idm. Im still trying to formulate a GS argument now that SHIELD has been outted to the rest of the community: re. spaceddes banning post i belive it is.

Its not a rant against unforgiven nor against any members of unforgiven, i was trying to say, obviously not very well, that even unforgiven is against KSing and I wonder why the gms arent. or somnething like that. lol...

I thought you guys were already aware that Over was Shield. I know I've mentioned it before here on our forums, plus he was never trying to hide who he was. Someone else stole the name Shield, so he was forced to take a new one.

I was skeptical at first too, but I must say that so far he has taken the position pretty seriously. In our meetings, he does try to crack the occasional lame joke, but overall, I think he will do a decent job if he sticks with how he's been acting thus far.

time will tell;/

but yeah...a lot of ppl on the forums were surprised when they finally clicked it was him...just as Uzi posted in the welcome the GS thread - sonething along the lines of : "some arent the most customer service oriented"

it seems some GS's are rather eager to use thier discretionary powers on the forums....Adam did it well enough by posting a little " stay on topic" - it does the job nicely as the first warning...but i think a few too many threads are being closed without full discussion being completed.

there are flamers yes..but some ppl can and will bring the topic back into repute^^...check how the sandboxie topic could have turned bad but kept its course.

"talk softely but carry a big stick" - teddy rosevelt perhaps?Wink

It'll take a few more instances when upon which i will have to embark upon another lengthy post about roles and uses of roles..:/
please dont make me leacture Razz

There are still GMs that patrol the forums, though, so there's really no telling who is closing the topics.

Anything we hide is subject to review by a GM, though. So no, we can't just go around hiding things. We also face punishment if we delete a thread. This is one of the things we were told strictly not to do.
