i did some utubeing of the game...
it seems ok....some ppl had issues of poor fighting gameplay....but i see you can ride around on COWS Razz

yea , its not that bad a game, probably if you were playing with a group of people it would be a decent enough game, solo, which is what im doing atm, i can see it starting to drag a bit. its still fun though, i quite like it, if any one else is playing im Akula in there.

just downloaded call of duty modern warfare 2.
awsome game (11gb omg), story is catching... you really feel inside it.

anyone know which comes next?
like there are a 9 of them.

is call of duty 4 modern warfare before or after that one?

then there is cod Word at war, ... im quite new at the cod games...

Only CoD4(Modern Warfare 1) and MW2 are linked in storyline. CoD4 comes first, then MW2.

I like MW2's campaign, but the multiplayer is so imbalanced. For online multiplayer, I play either CoD4, World at War or Battlefield:Bad Company 2.

so for the multiplayer you recomend me cod4:mw?

any other fps? medal of honor, etc . all those

also need help there lol, any place to find torrents? trustable ones...
atm piratebay is awsome for my eyes. downloaded caesar4 and civilization4 with all expansions... noone was a scam

For online multiplayer, I'd go with either:

CoD4(MW1)
CoD: World at War
Battlefield:Bad Company 2

As for TBP if there are a lot of seeders on the torrent, chances are it's clean.

My preference for FPS is AA - mainly due to teamspeak and playing with friends who we are all former/current military. (we talk a different language to keep conversations concise) and AA is free....

Well it's not as imba as everyone says. But it's definitely imbalanced at least a little.

Example:

Certain assault rifles(ACR is the most common example) have a high ROF, making them useful in close quarters. They also have no recoil whatsoever, and are still accurate at a distance, making them useful at long range.

When you have that, plus the versatility of an AR...why would you use an SMG which loses out at range, or a Sniper Rifle which loses in close quarters?

Not to mention shotgun and machine pistol secondaries. Let's say there's a sniper overlooking a relatively open space. A SMG user decides to either close the distance by using cover, or by flanking. Normally, his SMG would 100% beat out the sniper. But the sniper just switches to SPAS-12/Akimbo Rangers/Akimbo G18s/Akimbo M9-Rafficas. Now he is just as good, if not better at CQB than the SMG user.

Then there are the OP killstreaks, which promote camping. The nukeboosters in FFA. The constant swarms of scrubs looking for a 10th prestige lobby. And so on.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to both Halo:Reach and CoD:Black Ops.

any nice history war game? (medieval-rome)
what i learnt from downloading lots of games is that most of them i play them for like an hour and i jump to another one....
played rise of nations and aoe 3 for like 2hrs before getting bored.

the one i liked was stronghold (nice capmpaign/gameplay)
and both modern warfare games.

fps games are more addictive. as you cant just play the whole game in an hour. in realtimestrategies you may just play one random game and taste everything the game has for you.

so any good recomendations of fps and GOOD real time strategy war game?

btw playing sims 3 too a bit lol

I am more into swords and that shit... so if you like it, DMC3 and 4, Prince of Persia series.. whichever you choose...X-blades.. aliens vs predator... gears of war, UT 2003 and 2004, Divinity 2 :Ego Draconis (This game has issues with Nvidia cards and there PhysX)

This are the normal games which interest me.... Played all of them to half way then jumped to others to finish it...

End result.. I like it Razz

You can try Crysis and Crysis:Warhead too Smile

i began this whole gaming lark with "warlords II battlecry" a resoucr and kill type game...was fun for a bit and i finished it all....but wouldnt revisit it...not enough to keep me coming back.
even the sequel too..:/

then it was RS.....lol mainly coz it looked simliar to warlords II. Smile

then during one of the big login down events we had..i bought a cheap game called 'Pretorians'
some kinda RTS aswell...its quite hard tbh..for lil ole me:P im only half (?) way through it. might revisit it....

i like warlords because of its pause feature:...u could pause the game and still be able to tell ur troops orders.....like stacking commands i guess....then press unpause and watch them all run around doing your bidding^^
'cnc' and 'army men RTS' sound fun too...but we'll see. oh and 2sudden strike" was not too bad aswell.....and there endeth my knowledge of games:P...apart from going back to SNES days...and streetfighter 2 lololol:P

you know what im finding REALLY freaking hard to do?.......

find a laptop that can run WoW... Sad

i want a budget/highstreet laptop - for ease of purchase:P

but going through all the graphics options is a nightmare....
learning about the integrated graphics systems and which ones to avoid...and trying to find a lappy that has a dedicated GPU system.....then when i thought i finally found one...i read up and find out its just a renamed intregrated system >< (radeon HD 4200) -.-

any of you who have bought from a UK type buyer...eg amazon/etc...can shed some light or point me at a new laptop..id be most appreciative:)

i know there is a site called "can you run it".....or something like that....but lol i dont have the new lappy in order to test WoW against it.. Razz

i did it with my current machine and found fails in cpu and graphics...and HD space Razz

and it gets worse as you go up the various expansion packs Smile
