Howdy all?
Just wanted to hear my friends thoughts on this new bill which is eating half of the gamers community.
I am not an US citizen but I do know what will happen to US/Non-US citizens if this bill becomes a law. _________________ Celine/Mathayas |

This is a good vid that explains it pretty well and in layman's terms, too.
Tbh, Jim, I'm really surprised that you aren't aware of them. |

Well, I read about them once and thought how silly it was. I heard SOPA was shelved, in committee I assume. I cannot believe we were that concerned over web site blocking. I will read about these more in detail if they become an issue. Right now, I still believe the bill of rights and Constitution and if I am restricted, you bet they will face legal actions including an injunction based on their violation of my 1st and 4th Amendment rights.
I know nothing about PIPA, but I imagine it is a tracking mechanism for websites visited?
Based on copyright infringements, lol. This gives me a business idea......a new area of law I need to start practicing.
Edit: Well, why not move company off of US soil and avoid US laws? Host in a country that does not offer extradition. |
