I was a bit pissed with our team, after we just won the ashes and all, i thought we would have a decent chance, especially as we had to play Ireland, who lets be honest, only play cricket cause they dont wana feel left out, and then omfg they beat us, if i had been any where near the england team that day there would be several new england players needed, and body bags as well come to that. but yea grats india ..

My way to explain Cricket is that it is like Chess with a bat and ball. a very heavy and hard ball that travels well over 100 mph and can cause serious injury, there are also people who like to throw said very heavy and hard ball at other peoples fairly soft and squidgy heads, and often someone gets to stand almost right in front of the batsman (big guy, covered in pads ), who is trying to increase the speed of the very heavy and hard ball, usually straight at the fairly soft and squidgy head of the unpadded guys.
ahh good game. with surprisingly few injuries or deaths
