If infernu wants to make an alt guild, that's his choice, as long as injinjoe doesn't outright object to it. Saying ''Focus on Unfo, not on an alt guild'', because you think it'll derive needed attention from the main guild, or that it's too early, isn't really necessary. RagingThunder, in the end if not completely at the start of ShadowThrone, focused on the alt guild. That was his choice, and his way how to help out Unfo. Whether infernu decides to focus primarily on Sons_of_Anarchy or Unfo, is irrelevant, either way he'll be helping the guild. The people who decide to put an alt in Sons aren't saying which guild they'll be focusing on, either. They may just see it as a way of helping the guild.
This is, at leasy partially, an argument on priorities (somewhat similar to the SW attendance topic). You're saying that anyone who joins this guild should help out the guild. But only those who choose to do so, are the ones who will. The others have their reasons for joining, friends, advantages of being in a guild, w/e and etc. You can't change their priorities, if the person doesn't want to change their priorities. Rather than railing about the people who don't help, focus on the people who do help. I'm not saying focus on the optimistic (trust me on that one, that's the last thing I'd ever say), but focus on those who have the ''right'' priorities, and reward them with your admiration, or respect, or w/e. |

If you desire to have a guild and your willing to run it , and your willing to allow alts of unf people into the guild then do so, all this argument / discussion above shouldn't stop you if its what you want to do, if it works or not only time will tell.
when i have an alt that ill play every now and then ill put it into your alt guild no problem _________________ feed me a fruit! |

Exactly, an alt guild, no matter the time its established, is a big help to any guild. |

I don't want to argue much over something that is partially a matter of opinion. But I haven't seen any evidence of this with any guild ever.
At best it has served as additional storage for the guild, and at worst it has caused members to be siphoned from the main guild(even if they're not alts) and even caused a breakup of the guild(there's other examples, but recently you can look at FAMOUS and Hood). _________________ Southern_Cross 22X Lancer

I first advised we should have what is called now an alt guild, Over time it has changed to this alt guild some where you can put your alts. This is not what the idea was with Shadow Throne and any other Alt guild I have ever advised to create in other games pre Redstone.
Let me remind you all,
It is known as a " Sister guild " The sister guild is where Officers ( in this game vices ) and the guild master have there alts in and are still again officers and guild master, The Idea is that the " Primary guild " ( Unforgiven ) has advanced so far that every one in it is 400 + that we no longer wish to recruit people under 300 + ( The levels are examples ).
There for a sister guild is created so that anyone that wish's to join the primary guild can show there commitment to the primary guild by joining the sister guild until they meet the requirements to join the primary guild. The idea with alts is letting people from the primary guild have there alts in the sister guild so that the members of the primary guild can meet and get to know the recruits.
The main benefit to this is to keep the primary guild feeling like a family, a well oiled machine, to filter out noobs and twats and the like.
At the moment Unforgiven hasnt advanced this far so there is no need for a sister guild.
Thanks
The management. |

an alt guild should be managed by old guild members or vices.
thats where my ironic comment comes from, "lets make The_Empire alt guild", in response to infernus request for making his guild the official alt guild _________________ priest_vallon 12x |
