Right now I'm a level 77 luck hybrid thief. Im going to do 4 back to back ogre runs by tomorrow so i should be lvl 80 then (22:00-02:00).
I just wanted to take a moment to say hi, and ask for advice as I think i will soon be struggling to find parties ^^
first I want to lay out my characters build at level 80:
Base stats left Stats w/gear+guild included right
90 power 102
90 alacrity 94
10 health 12
245 luck, 254
10 knowledge 22
5 wisdom 9

now, i get +72 hp from my chest and my helmet combined, but i am desperate to get at LEAST my chest plate changed, to get both higher defense and because of looks (not because of vanity mind u) i look like a lvl 2 thief, and so short of the peeps that know me, or peeps desperate for an ogre sd run its hard to find groups looking the same as u do at lvl 2...
Now my most prized possession at the moment is my neck piece and its quite plain, it adds +9 to crits thats it...However with my only somewhat decent agility and my very high luck combine with this to enable me to double critical hit quite often. So my future envisioned plans for my char involve very high lvl of double throw, and of course darting fever...BUT i dont do great base damage, this is how my hits look usually 42-43with a small piece of magic dmg thrown in, with crits i get 180ish red dmg plus the small magic dmg, and with my double criticals i normally hit 280+..
a typical fight against 4 mobs using double throw goes something like this....
4x 40ish, 3x40+ 1 dbl crit (dead)
2 dbl crits a normal and a miss (dead)
4x40, 4x40,4x40(dead)
3x40+1crit, 4x40 (dead)
now normally actually get more crits and dbl crits than this, but im trying to downplay it a bit, regardless if i double crit at all, the mobs my level die, so, im looking for ways to both increase my base damage and increase my chances of getting a crit at all.
now what i have been doing with my build is 20 levels pure luck, 20 levels of +2 power/alacrity and at lvl 80 im supposed to start pumping pure luck again if I stay with the plan... however i think for just this one crucial junction I am going to keep pumping +2 str/alacrity until lvl 100, then go pure luck until 140, other things that will be helping me are that soon I will have the twinkling gloves on for some more base dmg, will be throwing 5 dags by about lvl 84, and i fnally got my hands on a belt that will give me more life, freeing up my chest space for the all important dp/non-noobish look, AND i will have an additional 20 str from my belt... so using that as that as my plan at lvl 100 including my gear i should have

Since I am in kinda new territory here, I cannot stress how important crits are to me, so unless somone knows how to get higher crits for slots not including neck, im going to start gambling with jim morrey's enchant dice on my +9 crits necklace, I bought another necklace for way too much money as back up in case something goes horribly wrong lol, so atm i have a +9 crits necklace, and a +9 crits +1 luck necklace, anyone know a high lvl luck tamer (pure luck, like 500 ish luck? b/c i need assistance with the enchants XD) Anyway my main dependencies are crits/hp/run+walk spd, and then str and then alacrity atk spd +dmg etc
My main concern is getting my double crits, if they die first hit, I dont care how fast I'm throwing
Any way I hope to be one day feared as an "OMG a thief that can hit hard!" char (prolly wont be able to invis sneak up on em in GvG til lvl 300 + >.>
My secret cryptonite? Critical hit resistance, by lvl 100+ it should mean double critical hit resistance oh and blockers/evades (squire/monk -.-)
for every 5 critical hits atm 4 out of 5 are double crits
oo and im already trying to figure out what 5 skills to max first help me out here guys
I want dbl throw, dagger fever and intuition at 50 for sure, but no clue about the rest :X
so let the daggers fly!

yup , nice post altho i have no ida how to increase ur critical rate :s
9% neck is good , a 9% with attack speed would be the best neck u can have imo.. ( as dubbel throw thief)
the only thing that will increase ur dmg a lot is getting
1) more power ( a getting strong +1/3 power item when ur high lvl)
2) damage % rings ( adjust to where u are playing.. switch with usefull rings(magic drop) and the dmg% rings to what u need most at that time)
in addition u can equip % damage gloves ..or faster attack speed gloves.. both will increase ur damage a lot !
3) get higher lvl , thief weapons become a bit better around lvl 140..
eventually u ll have to save up 100 mil and buy ruin driver _________________ Testchanger lvl 415 necro
