I talked with the gm of Defcon and we would like to hold a GvG on Sunday at 21:00. He said a good chunk of their guys will be on then, and I'm hoping it will be the same for us.
If you read this and see someone in guild chat who might not have, let them know about it, please. It's always nice to have a good turnout at wars |

We have always been, and will probably always be, a guild that is very diverse in our willingness to turn up for GVG. partly the blame can be said to be our widely different locations and our different playing times, but also some people are a lot less interested in GVG and Siege's than in simple lvling.
What however is unforgivable is saying you will show up and then not doing so. It takes quite some time out of the leaders schedule to arrange GVG's , now if he has done it based upon people giving a commitment to turn up and they then dont bother, it is, at least to me, entirely understandable if the leader gets angry about this.
In the past when I was leader repeated occurrences of this type led me to not booking GVG's any more. So if you want Joe to get depressed about the commitment of our members and follow the same pattern as did I, then you are going the right way about it.
If however you want Joe to keep booking GVG's for us THEN TURN THE FUCK UP WHEN YOU SAY YOU WILL !

i agree with narok on this one..i mean im all for GVG's but, if people dont even show, whats the point in having them? i mean really, wtf people...i know i wasnt on yesterday at all, i had my cousins grad party to go to. that i think is a relevant reason not to show. _________________ It aint a game, namsayen? |

Those are the right words, and i think it isnt too much narok.
I was dicusing about it with inji last night after sd's, and we agreeded that it is quite disapointing.
I dont undertand how other guilds do manage to take a good amount of ppl into gvg even wiith the minimum effort, while we having this full site and letting know in advance what are we going to do, yet we fail most of the time getting ppl together...
as narok said, a reason could be the diversity of locations we all have and the GMT.
Better be the reason ppl, otherwise it is not fair to me ... _________________ " An epic tune to an epic world "

I imagine it is the diversity. Often, Rosa and PG had a better attendance in their GvGs, as most of their players came from the same countries.
Still, I'd rather diversity in the guild. |

well in that case then, i would like ppl to log in and post they wont come, or that the time/day isnt right for em, or whatever.
Unfo has soo much potential, and we have the adventage of having a really nice site, iis it that ppl dont realize just yet?
oh well... _________________ " An epic tune to an epic world " |

It'd help if gvgs were bookable 24 hours a day...
As for timezones, I think the majority of the guild members are somewhere between GMT -8 and GMT +3. But having a list of the member's timezones would help with scheduling among other things(pw scheduling, seeing who might be on for SDs). _________________ Southern_Cross 22X Lancer
